WEEK 3 ( 20-7-2022 to 29-7-2022) On 20/7/2022 I had given them remedial teaching using pictures and summarisations. My twenty third class started with introducing a word 'paterfamilias'. But that was a different experience for me. Alway I would start my class by giving some activities but this time I had given them a word to begin my class.They observed the picture to guess its meaning and they succeeded in it. There became happy. And introducing that word at the beginning of my class helped me to manage the class time effectively.But the vocabulary explanation took more time. The students were active during the whole class. 'Tolstoy Farm' was comparatively a short chapter and it was easy to make them understand also. WEEK 2 ( 5-7-2022 to 19-7-2022) On my eleventh class I had completed my class on time and I managed to give proper reinforcement. I did follw the lesson plan properly. But I made some spelling mistakes on my ppt. But I corrected it and taught them. I felt that the closure of the lesson could have been more better.But from the next class I have managed to gave them a proper closure of the lesson. They guessed the meaning of difficult words easily with the help of images and examples. The class time table was changed and also there were changes in my periods as well. I ensured their full involvement during my thirtheenth class. And they were giving me the responses in a realky good manner. I have competed the class on time. 'Maternity' is a story about refugees. And my students were repeatedly showing their empathy with their facial expressions for the characters while I was taking the class. This two weeks were really good. WEEK 1 ( 13-6-2022 to 4-7-2022) Reflective journal serves as a means for teachers to candidly share their insights, feelings, emotions and ideas in a confident manner. Similar to a diary, it is meant to inspire reflection on events leading to both success and failure in the class room. The second phase of teaching practice started on 13 June 2022 and I was very much excited and thrilled to attend the school. This time I again got the same class 9 B. There are 34 students in my class and I almost remember all of them. They were very happy to see me and I loved to be surrounded by those little kids.But they have the fear to use English language as they are not getting the proper exposure because from their childhood they are studying in Malayalam medium class. Bloom's taxonomy is a set of three hierarchical models used to classify educational learning objectives into levels of complexity and specificity. The three lists cover the learning objectives in cognitive, affective and sensory domains. The cognitive domain list has been the primary focus of most traditional education and is frequently used to structure curriculum learning objectives, assessments and activities. The models were named after Benjamin Bloom , who chaired the committee of educators that devised the taxonomy. MORPHING April 20 , 2021 Morphing Morphing is a special effect in motion pictures and animations that changes (or morphs) one image into another through a seamless transition. Morphing software continues to advance today and many programs can automatically morph images that correspond closely enough with relatively little instruction from the user. This has led to the use of morphing techniques to create convincing slow-motion effects where none existed in the original film or video footage by morphing between each individual frame. Morphing is used far more heavily today than ever before. In years past, effects were obvious. Now, morphing effects are most often designed to be invisible.
